The latest from our friends at the MFX Podcast! Follow them at @MFXPodcast for great tweets!

Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are back to bring you news and show reviews in the weird world of pro wrestling. It’s a pro wrestling podcast, with a decidedly Scottish flavour. On the show this week…

It’s been a huge couple of weeks in pro wrestling, especially for AEW and the lads have their say on all the big news. They talk Sting’s début, his past in WWE and how AEW will hopefully use him better than WWE did. There’s tons of talk around the Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega AEW World Title match and all the headline grabbing fall out from that match. The lads talk the potential storyline with Kenny, Don Callis and IMPACT Wrestling and where this could go. It’s a damn fun chat about some really interesting developments in AEW.

In WWE the big recent news was the passing of Pat Patterson. The lads discuss his career in the ring, his work with Vince, how important he was to WWF and so many big name stars he worked with. When the lads break it all down, it really is remarkable to look at Patterson’s career and his influence and importance to pro wrestling. The lads also discuss the recent comments by Goldberg, who wants a match with Roman Reigns. Plus CM Punk has been talking about what it would take him to return to the ring and the lads have their say on this.

It’s the end of the year so we’ve got the first ever Scottish Announce Table Podcast Award! The lads discuss the categories and finalise the nominees for all the awards. Then it’ll be up to you guys to vote on the awards and they’ll be announced on the final show of 2020. This is a really fun look back at the best and worst in what has been the weirdest year ever in pro wrestling.

The show is wrapped up with a full review of NXT Takeover. All the matches and finishes are discussed in detail. The lads are confused by the booking of the Women’s War Games Match, mark the hell out for Ciampa vs. Thatcher and the North American Title match. The men’s War Games is covered in detail, it was a hell of a match. But once again the lads have issued with how Pat McAfee is presented and how god damn strong NXT kept him. That said, it was an incredible match that did deliver on the War Games gimmick. It’s a damn fun review of a great show.

So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.
