What’s Old Is New Again: Looking Ahead to 2021

Hey folks,

I want to start this off by stating the obvious: 2020 was a rough year for everyone. That’s why I made the decision not to write a “Looking Back on 2020” post…because a lot of crummy stuff happened.

Instead, I’m taking the time to look ahead to the new year, with a focus on some exciting new things we have in store for Occupy Pro Wrestling.

One of the best things that happened for us in 2020 was the launch of the OPW Live vodcast, where I hang out with my buddies Chris and James to talk wrestling every Thursday on our Twitch channel; needless to say, our hope is to not only continue this but expand even further in the new year! Not only do we have the live vodcast on Twitch, we have been adding new content to the YouTube channel for the past few months, including highlights from the vodcasts along with predictions and reactions to various PPVs and other big shows:

In addition, we are continuing to support our site partners with the ICYMI category to promote the latest, and with some helpful tools we are able to send word out through our social media platforms and our Discord server, where you can find ongoing discussions about wrestling, tech, and more!

Speaking of community…in the new year, we’re looking to grow! We are working on changes and additions to the Discord server as well as our message boards, which are being revamped with new content that will hopefully justify using message boards in the year 2021 haha.

There are some other ideas in the works, but this seems like a good place to wrap up this particular post. I’m very excited to make new content for what we have in store this year, and I want to thank you all for sticking with us as we approach our ninth (yes, NINTH) anniversary!
